Brad Creer, President and Designer

Brad graduated with a degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing. After college, he worked as a commercial artist for four years. Brad became an account executive with IBM for twenty years supporting multiple industries. After IBM, he received national recognition for starting a pre-internet network company using Prodigy services. Brad spent eight years in international telecommunications as Director of Global Contracting. He negotiated international contracts between telecom companies supporting large corporations.

Throughout Brad's career he always had a strong interest in art and design. Brad started Bradford Design; LLC in 2004 working mostly with architects and high-end builders on new construction homes in the Chesapeake Bay area. Brad designed and provided the built-in elements of these homes including kitchens, bathrooms, media centers, laundry rooms, libraries, bars, and butler 's pantries. Bradford Design has been recognized in over 15 published articles over the last four years, with three projects featured in national kitchen magazines. The former editor of Better Homes and Gardens: Beautiful Kitchens magazine spent a day touring six of Brad's kitchens and later named Brad as one of the "Top Twenty Kitchen Designers" in the country.

Elizabeth Iversen Horne, Designer

Elizabeth took an interest in design from a young age when her family bought and restored historic homes in Raleigh, NC. Throughout high school and college, she worked as a freelance artist for the marketing department of a large retail store. After graduating from Wake Forest University, she moved to Washington DC to begin interior design work with Bradford Design. Featured as a guest contributor on the popular design blogs: Apartment Therapy and ReNest, Elizabeth specializes in interior design details and finishes, selecting colors and materials that best complement a space. Her work with Bradford Design has also been featured in magazines such as Chesapeake Home and Living and The Washingtonian.

Laurie Geise-Wilkinson, Designer

With an early interest in design and construction, Laurie began her career working for a small firm representing Wood-Mode cabinetry. Her responsibilities included initiating new dealers in Virginia, designing showroom displays, instructing sales staff on products and ordering, and warranty claims. While there, Laurie studied Interior Design at Mount Vernon College. Her studies led her to a small boutique firm headed by two architects in Old Town Alexandria. She gained an appreciation for proportion, scale, historic preservation and the accurate reproduction of classic period design details. Incorporating these skills and experience, Laurie became a principal in the firm and eventually formed her own design company in 2000.

Laurie's work has been featured in fine homes throughout the DC Metro area, the Eastern Shore of Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania as well as California. Laurie was one of the early kitchen designers featured on HGTV.
She and Brad Creer successfully teamed together in 2004 before Laurie married and moved to Connecticut. She and Brad have recommenced their working relationship as part of the expanded Bradford Design team.
